The patients usually have diabetes history in the family, but the main cause of this disease is mostly because of life style.

People with excessive weight, poor diet, and high level of blood pressure are very prone to this typical disease. The disease can be treated with changes in activities or diet, but people need to really be discipline and stick to their life changing pattern. If the disease is quite severe, the insulin injection may later be needed.

•    The Gestational Diabetes is usually also called as carbohydrate intolerance that happens during pregnancy. It mostly happens because the body experience hormonal changes that lead to changes in body system and function. But the mothers who experience such disease should seek immediately.

Although this type of diabetes may go away after these women are giving birth, there’s also a chance that the disease may stay if there’s no medical treatment and help. Not only the mothers can develop further damages and health issues, the babies are also prone to obesity and also diabetes risk later on.

•    They may experience unexplained weight loss or weight gain without them planning to do so. It happens because the body can’t process and can’t handle all the calories and glucose in the body.
